Too advanced for beginners
The app is only fun if you already know enough french to read and understand most of the content because it is highly based around grammatical content. It attempts to be fun but is not fun and confusing for people actually learning from knowing nothing at all. I think it was built for intermediate level students that are already studying in a lesson based class. The en english buttons dont translate instructions more than once. Given that Im struggling to even get past 7 lesson tests to even get to the real lesson based content I dont think Id enjoy paying for something way over my head. Also, why am I being tested over 7 lessons? Why not just one preliminary test and set me on the appropriate lesson level? I also think that basing the lessons on grammatical content does nothing to help someone learn to speak. This app will only create students that have good grammatical book skills and no applicable speaking ability.
